Tell us about yourself
I graduated from UW-Whitewater with a major in marketing and a Spanish minor. I’ve worked at McDonalds, Spurgeon’s Department Store, Security Bank and Northwestern Mutual Life before taking a few years off to be at home with my children, who are growing up way too fast. I work as the Minister of Invitation at First Church and watch my two young neices.

What do you do as the Minister of Invitation?
I am in charge of hospitality, meeting new people and finding out their gifts and passions. I also help organize the new member class called BASICS that are held several times a year. I also hold the role of wedding coordinator. Come find me if you are interested in getting married at First Church.

What is the best part of your job?
The best part of my job is meeting new people and working with a great staff here.

What do you think you would be doing right now if God had not called you to be in ministry?
I would probably be working in corporate America and not very happy.

What is your favorite food?
When I went to Spain in 1985 I got hooked on churros and chocolate.  It's like a donut and thick hot chocolate.  I lived on it while I was there.  Unfortunately, I have not been able to find it anywhere here at home.

 Do you have any pets?
We have two cats. Rocket and Carmel.

What is your favorite movie?
My favorite movie is The Notebook.  I'm a sap for romantic, happy ending movies.
