Mom's Group

A mother prayed, "Make me a good mother."

God answered. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding."

God is there for us when we've had a tough day depend on Him.

Mom's Support Group helps nurture the spirit in all mothers. We discuss our everyday lives and get help from each other based on the "tried and true" method. Included are devotional self-help exercises, articles about raising children, book studies and many more activities. We explore ideas for mission to help those around us. Please join us as we explore motherhood and its benefits. Meeting dates are third Wednesdays of the month from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Obsessive Compulsive Support Group

We meet at First United Methodist Church of Waukesha on the second Wednesday and fourth Thursday of every month from 7:00-8:30 p.m. We are the only OCD support group presently meeting in SE Wisconsin. The group has a facilitator who has been trained in OCD and continues to attend seminars for continued education. Every meeting has individual sharing of what is going on in their personal lives. OCD characteristics or lack thereof are identified and named along with accountability with goal setting. Medication evaluation by an RN occurs to determine when a referral is needed related to behavioral characteristics. Referrals also happen for advocacy needs along with referrals for professional help when appropriate. Presentations related to the diagnosis with resultant conversation is a regular added bonus for learning and change.

Encounter Weekends
	Marriage Encounter Weekends Marriage Encounter is a positive experience for married couples seeking to deepen their relationships with each other and God. It's a wonderful weekend for couples to get away from jobs, kids, chores and phones to focus on each other. If you would like greater depth, growth and enrichment in your relationship, Marriage Encounter will make a difference.
	Engaged Encounter Weekends Getting married or thinking about it? Spend a quiet weekend with your spouse-to-be and consider the essential issues for a lasting relationship. Hear married couples share their stories and learn from their experiences. Engaged Encounter will help get your wedding and marriage off to a great start.
