Extra Years of Zest

Meeting the needs of seniors by engaging in ongoing educational, social and spiritual programming and visitation training for shut-ins.

The objectives of XYZ consist of providing fun, educational and worship opportunities for members of First United Methodist Church over 55 and community persons who wish to participate.

Please plan to join XYZ on the second Thursday of each month for food, fun, fellowship, information and worship experiences. You are encouraged to bring a friend!!

XYZ meets at noon on the 2nd Thursday of each month for a potluck meal and a special program.

Don your nostalgia hat, sit back and enjoy "Musical Memories". Bob Vrakas and Stuart Gale lead us on a guided tour of the music we enjoyed in our youth and today. Memories by Frank Sinatra, Benny Goodman, Pete Fountain and more. Remember dancing at the Eagle Ballroom?

Day trip!! Join us as we board a bus and roll on to the Schauer Center in Hartford Wisconsin. Enjoy a fine meal and the "Honky Tonk Angels" by Ted Swindley. A raucous and touching juke box musical where three women make their way to Nashville determined to “make it.” Hear the classic country tunes of Tammy Wynette, Dolly Parton, and Loretta Lynn as they were meant to be sung: Stand By Your Man, Coal Miner’s Daughter, Delta Dawn, 9-to-5, and of course, Honky Tonk Angels. This trip is open to all friends of XYZ. Included in the $60.00 cost is the round trip bus fare from church, the noon meal, and admission to the theatre. Information slips with a tear off return slip are available at the information desk and should be returned to the church office by March 8th.
