Meeting the needs of seniors by engaging in ongoing educational, social and spiritual programming and visitation training for shut-ins.
The objectives of XYZ consist of providing fun, educational and worship opportunities for members of First United Methodist Church over 55 and community persons who wish to participate.
Please plan to join XYZ on the second Thursday of each month for food, fun, fellowship, information and worship experiences. You are encouraged to bring a friend!!
Chuck Malone did his undergraduate work at U.W. Platteville. He taught in Waukesha for 28 years. He has been a guest director at Waukesha Civic Theatre, Edgewood College in Madison and Catholic Memorial High School here in Waukesha. Chuck served as an adjunct staff member at Carroll University for 12 years teaching Methods of Theatre Education. He did two years of acting at a Summer Theatre in Wisconsin Dells. His master’s work was in Guidance and Counseling.
Sharon Sohner is a retired theatre teacher from the Sussex Hamilton school district and does costume design for many local theatres now. She has performed with Waukesha Civic Theatre, Brookfield Players, and Menomonie Falls Patio Players. She is a graduate of Mount Mary College. Thursday, June 14, 2012, 12 Noon. Potluck and Program We will gain insight into the recent Costa Rica Mission trip from a member of the team. Dr. Thomas B. Taft will give us an educator’s unique perspective on the mission work that was accomplished. The mission team did construction work, taught Vacation Bible School and relaxed as artists painting a mural in a local park.
