KICK
- Kids in Church Klub
KICK is
open to children from grades 3-6. We meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays
of the month from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. in the Dining Room. The children enjoy
supper, games, songs, skits, and scripture. They will also receive a
mission focus based on discussions within the Klub. It is a great time
for children to learn about one another and their faith.
Hands-on
Bible
Our new
curriculum provides fun and learning for all! Children learn about life's
challenges and how they relate to the Bible stories from long ago. This will
help children understand the Bible better and use it to find answers to
everyday questions.
Children
learn in so many different ways and we want to make sure that all children's
needs are met. There is a special "gizmo" box with fun interactive
activities for each class. A fun "rotation" series is offered four
times each year. We mix up the grades and join children in groups to help them
meet and learn from one another. There are four rotating centers offering art,
science, music, games, computers, drama and cooking - all with Bible related
themes. The older youth in our church have an opportunity to interact with the
younger children and truly make a whole church family.
Come
join us in this spiritually fulfilling adventure at the First United Methodist
Church of Waukesha. We look forward to sharing the love of God with you and
your children. For more information, please feel free to call the church
business office at 262-542-4256. |
